“Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity!” Psalms 133:1
We had a GREAT instillation this evening! Pictures have already begun finding their way to the internet and there are many more to come over the next few days. There is no way to put into words the gratitude we have for everyone that helped make this a special night but we will give it a shot.
First, to the wives, thank you for supporting us in all we do. There is no way we could put forth the time and effort we do without such strong and supportive women in our corners. Not only do you keep things rolling smoothly at home but on days like today you really step up and pull it all together. Thank you for not only putting up with us but for encouraging us in all that we do.
Without a doubt you have heard the saying “It takes a village to raise a child.” Our village showed up today! We had Brothers from other lodges, parents, children, and even the support of our District Deputy Grand Master. Thank you for supporting the officers as we took the next step in our Masonic careers.
To our installing officers: Bill Lins and Bill Brown, you both did an amazing job. We were blessed to have two Brothers that are such great speakers preside over our event. You both give us very good examples to look up to and taking the time to make this a memorable event.
Last but not least, thank you Tracy Brummett our junior Past Master for devoting so much of your time and energy to Solomon Lodge over the past decade. We are all grateful to know you will be at the right hand of our newly elected Worshipful Master to whisper good counsel when needed.
Stay tuned folks, it is going to be a GREAT year!
